Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal state of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963.

We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost humankind.

Montevallo First Baptist Church is a group of Christians of all ages and a variety of backgrounds with one very important thing in common - our love for the Lord and our commitment to serve Him.

We are a Southern Baptist Church with a blended worship style, and we invite you to join us in worshiping and serving our Savior.
