January is "Soup and Bowl" month again at MFBC. We will be collecting donations for the Baptist World Hunger Fund and foodstuffs, cleaning, and personal items for the Shelby Baptist Association and the Shelby Baptist Assistance in Montevallo.

 A  Bread Bank is available to collect your donations which should be brought to the February 7 morning worship service.

Each Sunday in January we will collect items with a weekly emphasis as noted below. Please place your donations on the table in the foyer outside the fellowship hall.

• 3rd - Dry cereal, grits, oatmeal, coffee, and spaghetti sauce
• 10th - Pasta, rice, self-rising cornmeal, and canned fruit
• 17th - Peanut butter, jelly, mac/cheese, dried beans, soup, and canned meats.
• 24th - Mayonanaise, self rising flour, cleaning products, personal items such as bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc
• 31st - Catch-Up-Sunday - bring any of the above
